I did an author search for Jessica Gibbons and it turned up 0. Then I searched my own name Toma Grubb because I know there are several articles. Again nothing. I thought to do just Toma and it worked. If we are looking for someone to see what they have to say we have to know their login name. Shouldn't the search be able to find any and all relevant terms?

Here's a link to all the things you've written in the discussion boards:

Here's a link to the things Jessica has written for the site:

There is no search function for the news and articles (which is where all of Jessica's responses are posted). But we're working on adding that in our next big site update. The search function for discussions appears to be working properly.

I also just tried searching the friends search for Jessica Gibbons and then for me and again nothing was returned. Maybe the search function should be revisited to make it more useful to site members

You are absolutely right. We know the friend search is not working correctly. It's another one of the search functions that will be vastly improved in our next update.

Also, if you have your privacy settings in your profile set to protect your name in any way, then your name will not show up in any search results.

Check your profile settings under Privacy Manger. If you'll set your name as "Open to the Public" then your name should show up in friend search results.
