One of my nutrition guru's is Mark Sisson. Today his blog post was about ways to improve your insulin sensitivity, a subject that should be near and dear to every diabetic. While you might not be able (or willing) to incorporate all 25 into your lifestyle, I'm betting you can use at least 1 or 2 of these (1,5,6 and 15 are my personal favorites) …

Oysters make me vomit on smelling them, and liver is banned from this house. I think #25 is out for me too. As for the rest..some are doable. I never did find cinnamon did anything for me.

Pan fried Oysters are what is for dinner tonight…with green salad and asparagus…love my Oysters…regular liver I can do without.(shoe leather)..but calves liver and chicken liver are yummy!!!

I was looking at calves liver just the other day, but it just doesn't fit in my budget and oysters are definitely beyond my means but I do manage chicken liver every now and again. Also a fan of hearts and gizzards.

I cant do the hearts and Gizzards…my daughter loves them…and I have some in my freezer STILL from when she first moved down from NYC last year…time to throw them away…Oysters are very inexpensive down here because they are plentiful and local…and I find calves liver at the local farmers market for 4.50 a pound…the only problem is I have to buy the entire liver..and I have to order it ahead of time…BUT..I do love it and it is grass fed…so all is good…

$2 a pound is yt "strike price" for meat … obviously I eat chicken, when I eat meat. Just picked up 10 # bnls/sknls breasts for $1.69 per pound, so will be eating that for a while.

Sometimes I forget how blessed I am..I am not rich by any stretch..and I am a sale shopper for the most part..By I have a hubby that works like a fiend so when I really want something I can have it…as I said in a pervious post…we all live in our own reality and sometimes lose sight of other's realities..

Count your blessings.
I once had a pretty comfortable life … but a few bad decisions, a bad economy. some bad luck and major health issues changed my life radically in a matter of minutes. Were it not for the love and kindness of family and friends pretty sure I wouldn't be here now.
Definitely count your blessings.

I have printed it out. Those are great tips. I am doing some of them, but will work up a plan to do more. I liked him from the Summit and am planning to get his 21 day guide.

That article was pretty good. I do a few of them, knew about but don't do a few more, I already walk, but if you ever see me running, you better catch up, because something's about to blow up!
