Would someone please tell me how I delete myself from this forum? I cannot take it here anymore. I've tried and tried but I cannot figure out how to delete myself and stop all the emails that I get.

TIA (Thank you in advance)

I'm sorry you feel that way. I do to but I stay for the recipes and a few other things that are here. I don't have friends here anymore as none ever talked so saw no need to have a list.

So sorry you feel the need to leave here. I don't think we've had a chance to interact…but if anything I've said made you uncomfortable, that wasn't my intent. I've lived with diabetes for 38+ years and am 65 now. By learning as much as I could about diabetes, I was able to make the right food and activity decisions that helped me gain control of my blood sugars and live a good quality of life. For me, becoming aware of all of the carbohydrates I was eating and reducing them in my diet was the key to control. I limit myself to 120 total carbohydrate grams per day. Whether you stay or leave DC, I would advise you to invest in a guide that tells you how many carbs are in different varieties of food. "Calorie King" is a very good one available in either paperback or as an app. Also, read all of the food labels on products you buy to determine carbohydrate content and serving size. Determine how many carbs you are currently consuming per day and, if your BG's are too high, reduce the amount of carbs that you eat until you reach the level of BG you want. It won't happen overnight but you should see some progress. Wishing you well!

Thank you… Yes I have that book. After couple of years, I put it down. I read the food labels, but again, I jus got tired of it. I can go all day long and not eat and my BG levels are still high. Well…take care

Still posting as Anon, MP?

I really don't like it that you are leaving the site, but if you are unhappy here, perhaps it may be better to leave.

You can contact AleahK ~ http://www.diabeticconnect.com/profile/143356... and she will be able to do what you need to remove you from DC.

It is sad when many of us tried to get you to do what was in your own best interest and you took it to be harassment.

Sorry to see you go.

James

Your the main person who has drove me off this place. I can post anonymously if I want too, nothing wrong with that. I don't believe you when you say you don't like it that I'm leaving the site, what the heck do you care??? No, I only took YOU as harassment.
And I'm sure your not sorry to see me go. I know in my heart that I should stay. I could learn a lot and make friends, but I can't take people coming down on me so hard like you and a few others. Y'all aren't doctors. Yes, I didn't know what it meant for a meter to say "Hi." They never taught us that in the Diabetes class. I truly am going through a LOT right now and this whole thing has gotten out of hand. I wish I never made that post now. Thanks for the link and don't call me MP. That is not my name. Regardless if you know who I am or not, I wish to remain anonymous.
