Yep…the back she went south…I have a history of lower back pain but it usually isn't that bad…Only completely "lost " my back three times in eight years…NOT BAD…but I had to go to the ER…all I really wanted was my anti-inflammatory shot…oral NSAIDS don't help me at all…I hate meds and I hate strong pain meds most of all…so I got my shot…then the doctor tries to write me two scripts…one for a narcotic pain pill that I refused and one for a NEW and exciting muscle relaxer…NOOOOO…I don't do new meds…told Doctor Chicky I wanted an OLD muscle relaxer…so she wrote me a script for one approved in 1977…lmao…I think I piss doctors off when I tell them no…They are not use to hearing it…anyway I am feeling much better already..might even (cross your fingers) be able to crawl SLOWLY into an Epsom salt bath today…which is the best treatment in my opinion…always takes my aches away…a BIG shout out to the LSU ER..that hospital runs like a well oiled machine…from triage to discharge in 1 1/2 hours…NICE…and because I am a pre-registered client without insurance…NO BILL…yay me!!!!

Hope you are soon easing back into your routine!…we don't realize how well our bodies work until they don't anymore!

Hi JibJab,
So sorry to hear about your back, but glad to hear things are getting better. There's nothing worse than back pain because
whichever the way you move it involves your .back. Especially
your lower back. Enjoy your bath. Take several, that really helps.
I know from my own experience. Get well soon.

Do you know the cause of your back issues? Treatment is fine, until it doesn't work anymore. Has your chiropractor discussed any more long term solutions. Back pain is scary. It stops everything dead in it's tracks.

going to see the hubbys chiropractor tomorrow…and I made an appointment with the one that' works out of the clinic I go to..but he takes forever to in too get in to see if you are a new patient of his…So I have a 6 week wait to see him…The first time I threw out my back was 8 years ago when I was in the shower bending over to pick up the soap…since then it seems I only lose my back after doing heavy duty cleaning..the other day I did all the baseboards on both levels of my house…My back problem would probably go away if I hit the lotto and could hire a maid (grin)..

Most of my pain is gone…but my back is STILL tight as a squirrels rear end…my hubby made an appointment to see his chiropractor tomorrow…The Man is cross trained and actually worked as a MD for over 20 years before getting his license as a chiropractor…my hubby swears by him…so I hope he can "unlock my back"…I have no time for this…lmao

I'm glad you're already feeling better. I try not to "do drugs" as well, especially the "exciting new ones". For me, the best muscles relaxer is Biofreeze and massage. I hope your back is good as new very soon.
