Found this recipe for "cloud bread"…online…so I baked up two batches..one according to this recipe and one where I added cinnamon…Was as I said actually very good…cheap enough to make..practically carb free…and tasted yummy today for dinner with my mushroom swiss burger..going to experiment with different seasonings like rosemary and such…

I just had two of the plain ones I made yesterday with almond butter,,,didn't have time to make an Italian batch..they are way different today…more of a chew to them..more like a light bread…better than yesterday…Yesterday they were so light and melt in your mouth…I don't know how else to explain it other than the following .I use to have this Chinese bakery..(all hail Asian pasteries)..that had pastries made with rice flour..very very light…very airy that is how they were yesterday..I stored them in zip lock bags over night and today they have that chew…NOT a tough chew..but a chew…

That looks awesome! I love sandwiches and this may allow me to have a guilt free one again. Yeah!
Any tips you can offer in how you prefer them. She said they are crisp out of the oven, but take on a chewy texture later....have you tried toasting them?

I toasted two of the cinnamon ones this morning and ate them with a tablespoon of almond butter…had to skip my usual breakfast just to try them…very nice…I mean lets not fool ourselves..they are not real bread..but considering what they are…YUMMY..and something other than flipping celery to hold my nut butters…tonight I make a fresh batch with Italian seasonings…to see how my sons pizza idea comes out…

I think Mallacal is in Malaysia (or somewhere in that area), so I think it would be extremeiy expensive. And they'd probably be stale and broken up when they arrived.

Just kidding about jibber sending me the bread. BTW i live in Trinidad in the southern Caribbean just off the coast of Venezuela where it nice and warm all year round (that's an invite). It wont cost much to FedEx it here though. Hee,hee, hee

That sounds great. You can go sweet or savory I'm sure. I like your above mentioned idea of rosemary. I love rosemary in almost everything. Oh...its Saturday and I may just loose myself in the kitchen.

Are you going to post your version of it here in our recipe section?

eventually…I have so many recipes I want to post…but it is almost as if I am "not suppose to"..because every time I think I am going to have an hour or two to get it all done…something always happens…

Ok, I have not made them yet, but if I do, I will post it with a picture unless you beat me to it. I think this is a huge help for so many people.
