I admit it! Even I, who usually love the cold weather for as long as we can have it here in South Texas have had enough. I do not even want to get out of bed in the morning because it is cold and I know many of you have much colder temps. I am ready for some sunshine, which has been in short supply this year, and balmy spring temps. Here's hoping for a long spring before the summer heat hits.

I am sending you sunshine and warmth from Florida. We are expected to be in the low 80's today with fluffy clouds. It is crazy all the late storms we are having.

I know you don't want to hear this but the weather in Southern California has been wonderful until late yesterday when it started to rain. It has been raining on and off since then. I am using the day to stay at home, do laundry, pay bills, take care of e-mail, and make sure my puppy goes poopy outside even if it does rain (he hates rain). We have had a draught here and the rain is greatly needed. So while the song says "it never rains in sunny California" I am happy to say that it is now raining cats and dogs here today.

I was away in Santa Barbara for the weekend with my special friend, Sam, and we expected rainy weather but it was perfectly sunny albeit cold. We walked and shopped for two miles plus on Saturday and again over two miles on Sunday. We also had wonderful fish meals for our dinners, protein shakes for our lunches and omelets for breakfast. I thought that I had gained weight but I actually lost 2.4 lbs.

It is my belief that the world is changing and we are going back to the Ice Age because of the way that people have treated their Planet.

I am so sick of the snow and freezing weather I have been contemplating visiting my baby sister in Florida until the weather warms here in Baltimore.

I'm with you, I've had enough too! Here in my area of north TX we are looking at possibly more snow on Wed eve and not expected to see the sun until possibly Sunday. I don't care much for the violent spring storms but I think I would take that over this now. I miss the California weather! (But not the expensive living.)

I hear you Suecsdy! I am in Indianapolis and it has been a wicked winter, though you'd think by now I'd be used to it since I've lived in the Great Lakes region all of my life. If I could send you some sunshine, I'd be happy to do that. And, I agree with a nice long pleasant spring, when the sun is up early and the flowers as fragrant as ever! Stay warm - curling up under a blanket does help!

Bite your tongue…I hate the summer…120 days straight of 95-98 degree temps and humid as all hell…would rather It stay winter all year long…30's aren't that bad…as long as it stays in the 30's and doesn't go from 35 one day to 75 the next…THAT is what I hate about winters in Louisiana..

I don't do summer well myself and here in San Antonio it starts too soon and stays too late, but right now I.m ready to be a little warmer. Even in my fuzzy Crocs, my feet are cold. The only time they are warm is under the blankets with thick socks.

I agree we need some warm weather here in Texas. I'm freezing also. I can't wait to go work in the garden, but I need to feel better. My stomach is killing me and my eyes are getting messed up.

Dear Scared: Surely you are not saying that the cold weather caused your stomach and eye symptoms, or are you?
