Thank you all for your comments. I leave next week my daughter called the airline Southwest and they said there was no problem and I did't need a note just to have all meds in origenal package:)

I'd get the note anyway, things change from day to day. I needed one when I took a flight to Anchorage recently. Doc just wrote on a perscription pad that I was an insulin dependent diabetic. Worked fine. Took everything in carry on, as well.

It was awesome. I went to visit my younger sister for her 40th. She turned 41 on the 14th. Hard to believe it's been a year. Plan to go back one year for Christmas. The area she lived in was beautiful!

Hi Paula,

Last June I flew to Australia with my Byetta and other medications. I had a doctor's note with me that I showed as I went through security. I had no trouble. I had even put the majority of needles in my checked baggage.

I went to Florida a number of times to visit my sister. All I did was to get a note, updated of course, form my doctor stating all the meds. I was on and that I was a diabetic and taking insulin. I had no trouble at all. But like Vicke said I would take them with me as carry on only.

Good Luck and Happy Vacation!!

I flew in December and I had no problems what so ever. Just make sure you have all of your prescription with you and I would recommend a doctors note. I didn't have a Dr's note, but I did make sure that I had all the original prescription with me. I also took everything on as carry on. When I went thru security they didn't bat an eye lash.

Good luck and safe flying…

Blessed Be
