I continue to be frustrated on the weight loss issue. I am doing the right things, eating better, walking more. The clothes are looser, the skin is looser; I am apparently losing mass, but the scale continues to laugh at me. Before being dx, eating all the bad-for-me stuff, I was not gaining and over 5-6 years lost 45-50 lbs. Now I am eating less and better, sleeping better, can't say I walk more because in retail you are on your feet all the time…and barely 10 lbs off in 6 mos? Can the insulin really make that much difference? I must say also, that weight loss has never been easy for me. I guess in addition to insulin resistant I am weight loss resistant. Whoopee! Can't they just give me a pill with all my daily requirements and cut out the food altogether? I'm taking a handful already, one more won't make any difference.
