I have to get this thought out of my head and i apologize in advance: Has it occured to anyone that the letters some of us use to refer to our blood sugar, bs, also have a more notorious association? I think it's kind of appropriate, at least to me. I said before that I was easily amused.

Howdy Sue
THAT's why I always use BG (blood glucose) when referring to one's blood levels. I know and understand the BS as I have shoveled a LOT of it during my youth on a dairy farm. (not so much the bull variety but the bovine (cow) variety. I shoveled so much of it that it "burned out" that part of my olfactory senses so I don't really smell that smell anymore. It was useful to me when I was a CNA and had to clean up a client.

(probably TMI)

God's best to you

OMG, every morning when I take my BS, (BG) and it is higher than i think it should be I yell out "that's BS" (i live alone, i can yell out). so yes, I see the association daily. LOL
