hey I have been doing 30 day squat challenge on day 14 I did 135 today feeling good help strengthen legs!!!

I have problems with my knees so squats don't work for me. I saw an infomercial for a treadmill, though, where the person leaned forward (holding onto the bar) and took long strides. I did this at work where we have a treadmill and it worked out some of those same muscles — felt good because I hadn't used them in so long! I plan to do these at the rec center next door as soon as we get more daylight (I don't have a car so I walk there). 135!! Amazing!!

Hi msann, Thank you for being my first friend! I'm type 2, insulin dependent. I just saw my Doctor yesterday. I had told her that I tried doing squats, but with the problems I have with m back, I just can't do them and she agreed. Hurts my knees too. I am glad to hear that you all are doing so good with exercise. My Dr. told me to walk, but even walking puts a lot of pressure on my back. She told me about a new pilled called Invokana. Have any of you heard of it? I look forward to getting to know you all. Sherrydawn

when I am in a water aerobic class we do squat. I usually go to a class 3 or 4 times a week. Also, do some ballet moves which makes it more interesting!

I try to do them as well I lift weights, and leg bends until my knees start hurting, and curls with weights and I squeeze those spring things to strengthen my hands and wrists. Congrats to you on those squats.

Hi msann thats great wish i could do them but my bends are short both knees damaged but i squat the best i can and i am hopeing you complete it im sure you can im rooting for you but when your done you feel great don t you thats a plus i have to do things different but it makes me feel great i just want to be active and flexable or else i get tired and slow not a good feeling all the best

HI i sometimes cannot walk when knees give out but i do upper excerccise with my arms and bending foreward helps keep you going i got them on line and it keeps me focused and active good luck to you

WTG Msann!!! I do squats during my Jillian Michaels workout but I'm pretty sure that the most I have done at any one time was 30.

135 squats!!!!!…wow..I don't think I could do one…but then again I have a bad knee and a bad lower back…I prefer low impact…like swimming…and sitting while I exercise…lmao yes I sit in my weight chair. Attach the harnesses from the weights to my hands and feet and do my resistance training that way…I wish I could do squats…would probably do wonders for that little jello jiggle on my inner thighs..( sorry for the visual)..
