Hi! I had my A1C test done (5.8). :)
Sorry I haven't been on much lately . My husband James has been in the hospital for 15days. He has a bad heart and the heart doctors said they can't do anything else for him. He has 13 stents in his arteries. So now he will have a care giver and a home health nurse. He is so tired that he has to sleep most of the time. I feel bad that I'm not physically able to take care of him. My polio problems are getting worse. I also have a caregiver that comes in and takes care of me. At least my diabetis is in good control. My numbers are never higher than 130 to 150. :) I'm glad to be back at least as much as I can.

Glad to see you're back and doing ok. So sorry to hear that your husband isn't doing so well. We went through a similar situation with my grandfather. He had a total of 42 heart attacks before his defib finally gave out and his heart could no longer keep up. I too have been offline dealing with other concerns and unfortunately not doing as well as you have with your numbers. Keep up the good work on staying in control. Praying for you both and wishing you well. Becky

Taking care of yourself is always paramount, specially when you are also a care giver. I take care of my husband a lot as well, and it does inspire me to get better myself so he doesn't have to worry so much. It is great that you are in that good of control, keep up the great work.

First .. Sorry to hear about your husband. It must be hard for you.
Second.. Glad to hear about your numbers. You have done so well, considering the stress you must be under.
I will keep the two of you in my prayers. God bless you both.

Sorry to hear about your husband. Know it is hard - not first had but as a child watching her parents. I am proud of you for keeping up with your health issues and keeping them under control. 5.8 is great!

I will keep you in my prayers, asking God to give you strenght to keep you healthy so you can support your husband.
