I want to thank all you folks for all the prayers and good wishes. The procedure was a breeze and everything. Was pink and healthy. I meet with the Dr in 2 weeks to schedule surgery. I am really happy. A tiny little bonus drinking all the nasty "go juice", I was down to just over 186. Yay! Hope to lose a little more before my next appt. Just having the go- ahead gives me a lot of peace.

I did not realize how much the colostomy was affecting my mental health until this morning. I slept really well last night and woke up feeling so good and energized today. Even though I don't have a date yet, just knowing my new surgeon is on board is great. and that something is going in the right direction.. My goals for the next couple of weeks are to eat really well and try to lose a few more #s before I see her again. My mini steper should be seeing a lot of action. This news is motivating me I'm also going to put some energy into designing my new kit bag for my diabetes supplies. It's also good to know that my insides are healthy. It all looked really good yesterday. They only gave me mild sedatives so was awake to watch the was interesting.
