Having high blood sugar despite adjusting my insulin till around 20 to 24 units for pre-breakfast, pre-lunch and pre-dinner. On Humalog (morning - 15iu till 18iu, lunch 18iu till 24iu, dinner 20 iu till 30iu) and Levemir 16iu till 20iu (night) currently.

Previously was on Lantus (28 to 30 iu) but had switched due to having constant hypo for night & middle of the sudden. The hypo would suddenly happen without feeling any hypo symptoms.

Even eating the same amount of meal everyday would cause hi & lo situations. Am getting frustrated with adjusting the insulin dosage. Not sure what more am I suppose to do…

Yeah, the only insulin pump available in M'sia is the Medtronic insulin pump at the moment. Sad

Yup, am thinking of that. Trying to find out more info on that.

In Malaysia, so far only the Medtronic insulin is available here and it's darn expensive too.

But for health, I am willing to purchase it if it'll help with my diabetes.

Howdy Bevsi
I thought that a Google search for insulin pumps available in Malaysia might result in other pumps available there, however I was wrong in my optimism. Sorry.

Sounds like you are taking injections? I had the same issue and was up to 8 injections a day. I fought getting a pump and thought it was too restrictive. I've had it 10 years - the pump- and I love it. You might consider it. It helps regulate better
