A 7.0 A1c is considered "fair" control for a diabetic. I've been in the high 6's lately and am shooting to try and get mine into the mid-6's at least. The more you improve your A1c, the less likely you'll deal with those nasty diabetes complications. You've made progress Rolly which is great. A1c's in the 6's are considered "good" control for someone with diabetes.

Congratulations Rolly, 7.0 is much better than your last one. 225 and 300 is still really high though, you should have your doctor or nurse check your meter or ask for a new one, they usually keep free ones at the doctors office for you. I know you've been having a hard time with counting carbs, is that going any better for you? 7.0 is really much better for you. Best of health to you. Heidi

Hi Rally
7.0 is a good A1C. Your meteor may need to be recalculated easy enough to do. Just follow instructions that came with your new meteor. Goof luck, VL
