Flax seed and chia seeds

please explain flax seed and chia seeds are different or the same if different pleas share the nutritional value ofboth and how to consume everyday and dosage

Flax seed and chia seeds are similar in nutritional value. Flax seed cost less. So I use lots of it. Chia seed is somewhat a fad. Good but a fad and more expensive. Rose

I use both and add 2 tablespoons to muesli. You can also add to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal etc.

thanks for posting that side by side comparison, it was helpful for me. I have a hard time affording the chia seeds but have wanted to get them. Now I feel a bit better about just using the ground flax.

yup, once the chia seeds I have are gone (they were a "gift") it will be back to just flax for me as those chia seeds are about 3x more than the $1.69 a pound I am paying for flax seeds.
