Do any of you have to deal with these types of problems?
I do, almost every night.
Any suggestions?

ARGH, story of my life. I take ropinerol for the RLS 3mg of it nightly. While it seems to make me sleepy and seems to help initially with the RLS It does not last long and I am awake a few hours later anywhere from midnight on.

Been up for hours. Completely understand what you are going through. You'd think that they would have a product to help us!

Howdy Calyx
Almost every night I have restless legs and have trouble getting to sleep. I am up and posting now because I cannot sleep. my eyelids are starting to get heavy but I suspect that once I walk from here to my bed I will be wide awake again. I have found no solution as of yet.

Yep, I woke up at 2am and it is 4am now. Don't even feel sleepy ! I'll feel the effects of this all day ! Someone suggested getting Magnesium Cream for sleep and restless leg. Have you heard anything about this ?

Haven't heard about Magnesium cream, but will look it up momentarily.

I haven't been able to track down what I would consider a solid article on Mg Cream but I found what is more than merely a sales site for the stuff: ~

One of the things which turns me off is when those who promote a product claim that it treats multiple medical challenges. In this case anything from easing arthritis pain to fibromyalgia pain to easing constipation. (I know the last one due to my late wife getting too much of Mg for her heart and had problems with getting diarrhea frequently).

Same here James. Woke up at 1am and can't go back asleep. Throws my day off course. And I sometimes have restless legs.

I understand what you are going through. Going without sleep can ruin your entire day. Then it almost seems like our bodies are programmed not to sleep.
I hope your day goes well.
