iPhone sign-in trouble,just me?

Hey everybody, it's been a while since I've been on here, (posting anything that is!) so I hope you're all having a great New Year, and 2015 brings all of us nothing but great blood sugars and doctor visits! :)
On to my question, which might be for the DC IS team- I can browse the site, follow discussions, do everything through the mobile app, but if I want to leave any comments, I am told to "Sign In or join the community." So of course I go to Sign In, and then get the message " We're Sorry, the authentication server is not available."
So I am doing this the old-fashioned way, on diabeticconnect.com(on my phone right now) but is anybody else having similar issues?

I decided to wait on the app for this website. I usually prefer to do much of my heavy duty lifting work like research & this sort of thing on my laptop or desktop. I had pulled up the app in the Google Play Store for my Samsung Galaxy S5 & the ratings/reviews were saying the same sort of things like log in problems & such. So sorry to read that there's no one to iron out the bugs as of yet, but I imagine it will work out in time.

I have an old decrepit iphone 4..and couldn't get on the app…probably because I didn't upgrade the operating system because I prefer the feel of the one I have…but alas she is leaving me next month for the new galaxy phone…so I will have to search for that app…

Sorry, I am no help as I use my old fashioned computer to write on DC. In fact, I have a dumb phone rather than a smart phone. Speaking of which, does anyone have the 6+ smart phone that has all of those apps for exercise, dieting, weight loss, etc. That is what I want, to have it all in one place.

Currently we don't have any app developers on staff to update the app or fix bugs. We are in the process of finding developers/firms to handle this but in the meantime we recommend you use the full site like you're currently doing. Thanks for understanding!

I had that same problem for the longest time and finally did the same as you, using an android phone. I just gave up on the app. Now we both know :)
