hey guys we had to stop walking for a week got the flu but back to walking and excercising now I am down to 233 now from 257 about 6 months ago shooting for under 200 hundred this summer I will be 65 on may 4 wish me luck with my weight and a1c bless all of you enjoy your day!!!

Congrats on your weight loss and continual way to inspire the rest of us to stay healthy in the right way. I am on Cortef right now and I am walking as much as, I can, when I can due to weather, and how my back is feeling. I have two rods in my back so, it can be a pain at times. I have faith in your goal being met also. Keep up the good work.

Msann, Great Job! Congratulations on your weight loss!! My highest weight was 240, I'm down to 194 and controlling my blood glucose with low carbs (50g a day) and exercise. Keep up the great work, your story is so encouraging. I'm believing with you that you WILL be under 200 this summer!

That is great! Keep up the good spirits, and you will hit that goal! I also had that virus almost 3 weeks. I finally feel ok to start working out again also.

Congrats on your weight loss. Keep up the good work. I have lost 40 lbs. probably in the last 1.5 to 2 years. It's my New Year's Resolution to continue losing weight and my goal is to lose 1 lb. a week. I figure if I lose the weight slowly, there is more of a chance of me keeping the weight off.
Again congrats on your weight loss and keep up the good work, and you're sure to reach reach your goal of UNDER 200 by this Summer. I'll say a prayer that do!

That's awesome!!! I have recently lost 25pds. and I feel great. Have you change your diet as well? Good luck in your quest to lose weight and be healthy. I would appreciate any tips that you could throw my way. :)

hey sugrfree I really didn't change my diet between walking and excercising at the gym I really don't be hungrey but still have to eat something but my body going threw lot of changes 9 yrs ago I weighed 345 now I weigh 232 mouth lost so much teeth don't want to stay have to put a lot of fixadent in my mouth but I am doing ok have great day good luck to you also!!!

Awesome job getting back up on the horse so to speak, after having the flu. I have found it is sometimes difficult to get started again after a break. Congrats on the weight loss, you must be feeling it in the loose clothes. Keep up the good work. Best in health, Heidi

You can do it MsAnn. I Went from 242 (my scale not the doctor's) to 175 (my scale) and am still trying to trim own to 154. Fortunately, my numbers are looking much better, but that said I am taking oral medications. Everyday you just keep swapping things out and watching those yummy carbs. I'm with you girl!

I'm in the hospital and plan to start my walk to weight loss as soon as I get released. I will keep you posted. I turned 65 thus past Niv 5 and weigh 237

That's great. Sorry you've been sick. That's a nice goal, I've dropped 13 lbs slowly.
Wednesday, my father fell and has a massive blood clot on the left side of the brain. I will be graciously helping with his care and hope to get some exercise. I've taken a leave from work. Hope I don't gain back!

Good luck,but I say you will make your goal before then..I am trying to lose 20+ by April.We are going on our 1st cruise with our son and his wife to the Cayman Islands and Jamaica.Very excited.

Good job, msann. I commend you for the weight loss and restarting after being ill. I'm sure that you can lose the weight but more important is your health. The better you feel, the easier it will be to lose the weight.

Glad you are back in the walking routine and congrats on the weight loss. Keep up the great work! I hope you are able to reach your summer goal but even if you don't, you're making great progress through all your efforts and that is the most important thing.
