I know this is not really diabetic related, but I just had to share the good news. This morning my neurologist told me I could get back on my horse. You cannot imagine how happy this makes me. My riding buddy is picking me up on Saturday. We are loading the horses and headed to the Greenway. We will only take a short ride, about an hour, but it will get me started again. It's been a long wait since last May when I had to stop riding. I know I still have to be careful, but I am so thankful I can try riding again. Everyone please keep me in your prayers that everything goes well. :)

Hope you and your horse have a wonderful time. Let us know how it goes. Don't forget to bring an apple for the horse's treat. Everyone should benefit from this auspices ride.

Thanks, RebDee. The ride went fine. I have been out a 2nd time and plan on going again tomorrow. My horse is really confused. I think she believed she was in retirement. LOL. She didn't get an apple, but she is a carrot junkie and had plenty of those.
