There was a link in a discussion by a new person recently. The link claimed they could cure diabetes.
I listened to it all and got a clue to it. It is IGF-1 which is a human growth hormone. This is the same hormone that athletes take to make their performance better. It also makes one younger by making the cell of the body better. When we are young we have a lot of it, as we age it becomes less and less. It does affect blood sugar in a positive way as he said. The problem with it is when too much of it is taken, the liver, heart and other organs grow extra large. This is very bad. The guy in the link
was selling a shake mix that he claimed caused this IGF to increase in the body and thereby cures
diabetes. I suspect that to keep diabetes cured, one must continue to drink the shakes every day.
What are the consequence of drinking these shakes every day. I don't know, but I am not willing to
risk my health finding out. If you Google IGF you will find this information from many respected scientific sources. Nature knows what it is doing when it doesn't keep this growth hormone at high
levels as in our youth. Mother Nature knows best in my books. That is the story.

There have been (independent) clinical studies of IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor) that have shown promise in treating diabetes (no where did these studies use the word cure), but as there is concern that high levels increase the risk of colorectal, breast, and prostate cancer I would not consider taking this except under the supervision of a qualified doctor.

I just watched the video and you have a 60 day money back guarantee and it's suppose to cure type 1 and 2 in 14 days for $37. I bought it because what have I got to lose?

Hi I am new to this site I have type 1 I saw that you purchased the shakes how did that work out for you

They promise a money back guarantee, but don't always fufill that guarantee. So what do you have to lose? $37.00 and possibly your health. Note what Steve (above) and Rosalie (below) wrote.

You do have a 60 day money back guarantee. IGF, a human growth hormone is supposed to be the way it works. However excess human growth hormone can cause the heart, liver and other organs to grow to a much larger size. The video did not mention that or any side effects.. When you get the product would you be so kind as to tell us more about it. How do those shakes cure diabetes, how often to you need to take them, how much do they cost, what are the ingredients, does it work for you?
This information would be greatly appreciation. Thanks

You need to flag those discussions so we can see if they are selling things. We don't allow that on the site.

Howdy Rose
It never seems to fail, More snake oil "remedies " which remedies nothing. and in this case could do some damage.

I'd like to know the link to that discussion so I can report it as something like that should not belong on this site. I may well stumble upon it eventually.

God's best to you

Howdy James,
This has truth to it. The IGF does affect blood sugar in the positive direction. Those with a little bit of truth are the worst as When you google IGF you do find it affects diabetes for the positive. It is what isn't said the
concerns me You can't get any more information with out making a purchase. It is sad that we have had to become so jaded that when something comes along that might a be a benefit for us diabetics, we
automatically assume it is fraud. That is true of the resistant starch fiber. It doesn't cure diabetes, but makes life with it less of a burden. It is assumed to be fraud. Such is life.
