I am sitting here, knowing that I should get my A1C results back in a few days. By BS levels have been good latley but I am noticing that I am getting fals low symtoms. About an hour ago, was talking to my assistant and my eyes got blurry around the edges, light headed, weak feeling. A classic sign of a low BS. got out my kit and I was 95. No way should I be feeling a low at a BS 95. either way, it was time to go eat. Now I am wondering if it was my body telling me it was time to eat or if it was somthing else. Anyone else experiencing false low BS symtoms?

I ran super low for months, only 3 or 4 highs in that time frame. Now, after the new medicines tossed in for Addison's and Insulin, I'm running sky high. My only way of knowing is my eyes. They burn, hurt, blurr, high or low. I don't think I've ever had a false negative that I know of. When I was running 20 to 30, I was cold, but sweating, speach was slurred and could barely walk. Still with me, low or high, I do get a warning and it's my eyes. Hope it gets better for you, Angie

I've found that it happens when it's dropping rapidly for one reason or another. Also, check your meter (batteries, control#, etc.)

When it happens to me, it usually means it HAS been high, and now when it's in range, it feels low.

Now there is a good question!! Usually if I am low in the morning I wake up feeling groggy, eyes a bit blurry, with a headache, and sometimes a bit shakey as I did this morning..but when I tested …132!!What's up with that?? This is the second time since last Monday that this has happened. I am confused too.

I used to experience them all the time so I just stopped checking it. I later found out that they were dropping at the time and it just wasn't showing low at the time.

I've had the happen too. Then at other times I don't notice any highs or lows. But I believe that sometimes can happen when there's a sudden drop for whatever reason. As I've said before, our bodies are very interesting things, AND because they are we help the doctors make the payments on their Mercedes and their yachts (LOL).
