just wondering, 'cause these things I do, where/how do you store your meter/strips/lancing device?

I'll go first …

All in a zippered pouch in my desk drawer in my bedroom.

your turn, go …

The same except it's on top not in the drawer. If it was in the drawer it would be out of sight, out of mind…

I keep mine in the zipper pouch it came in. At home I keep it on my bedside table and during the day I carry it to work with me or where ever I go.

Strips, they're all over the freakin house, floor boards of my car, the driveway, everywhere you can think of. They must multiply like bunnies (apparently).

Stuck to the bottom of my shoes, inside my slippers, the cats find and play with them, the dog eats them… or occasionally finds the bag from wherever I put it and brings that to show me he FOUND it… ( (@)#*@#*@@( dog! )

Store em all together, and the back up(s) in separate spots. The kit I use, its not stored anyplace. Typically beside me where ever I might be.

The twenty years of the back-up meters, strips, lancets… have them in a bag in the closet. Break em out if I need the back-up to the back up generic meters. Until then, they're in the closet waiting.

My meter and strips on a counter near the kitchen since I am home bound. Keep my insulin's in the fridge.

I carry mine in a zippered pouch that will hold what supplies I need. The extra that I have for backup is in the original boxes in a storage cabinet.

I searched the net and stores locally for something I could keep all of diabetic supplies together in. I found a make up bag opens up almost flat with a zippered pouch on each side. I was able to put my lantus pin, my novolog pin, and pen needles in one side and my meter, lancet, alcohol wipes, and strips on the other side. When closed there is a flap that snaps shut. I keep all of my supplies on my coffee table. My laptop also sits on the coffee table so everything is at arms reach.

Hi Steve,
I keep one in my bed side table, in the leather pouch which it came in. The second one I carry in my purse in the zippered pouch inside my purse. It all stays together in the leather pouch which it came in. I also carry peanut butter crackers and a can of pure oj and a couple packs of sugar to mix together incase I drop. Which happend more often than not.

Hi Haloeboy,
My meter and supplies are stored in case. When I am down stairs on a table in the living room and when I am upstairs on the side table in my bed room.

Main meter on the counter in my bathroom, strips under the sink in my bathroom. (I know, we're advised not to keep them in a damp environment but my bathroom is large, bright and airy.) 2nd meter always in my purse and 3rd meter in my work-out fanny pack.
