I recently found out I am a type 2 and have been reading a lot on it. I am a newbie about all this. I have seen a lot about "green smoothies". Anyone with any experience with them and how they work with diabetes? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

No idea what a green smoothie is but in general smoothies contain a lot of carb and are not usually very diabetic friendly.

Ok, I bite, whats a green smoothie? And where can I get information on them?

It is a drink made out of vitamixed greens like Kale, lettuce or spinach and fruits.

as much as I like my veggies, I dont think I would care for a smoothie of green veggies. Do you think I can put a steak in that green smoothie?

I thought the same thing, but with about a 60/40% vegetables ratio, it tastes pretty good.
