Hi everyone,
I have my 3 month check up tomorrow and if my A1C is up I will be put on meds. These check ups always get me a little nervous. I am still overweight and my bg's have not been stable. I have a real tendency to go low lots so maybe my A1C will be ok.

Try to accept what will be in the check up & be patient and take it easy.. Don’t be nerve because it will affect your levels.

I really apreciate everyone's prayers and thoughts. Thank you so much. This ste is so supportive! I am going to try and get my very sick brother to sign up on the site after he gets moved to WA. Right now, I think he is too busy getting ready to move an the computer is probably packed.

My check up went well. I will know my a1c results in a few days. I do not try to contrlo it by getting my bg low. My bg goes low on it's own.

I didn't mean that you were trying to do that, just saying you have to be careful not to allow that to happen…to work toward keeping it at a "good" level routinely.

Wishing you a good report. Don't work toward lowering your A1c, however, by allowing your BS numbers to drop low. That's dangerous and not the way you want your numbers to be on an ongoing basis (fluctuating high and low). You want to hit somewhere in the middle and stay there (hopefully) - no disturbing highs or lows. Keep us posted.

I agree with Diane on not letting your BS go low. You need to keep those BS in normal range at all times. I hope you kept a journal on when your BS is droppping so your MD can help you manage it. Good luck, I hope everything goes well for you. Please keep us posted, we all care…Debe
