"For those of you that do not read the *News & Articles* section of this site, I am posting the link to a good article here. It might help some of you to be able to get some of your medications for free. Here is the article summary:

Drugmaker Pfizer is making 70 of its most popular medications available at no cost to people who have lost their jobs and do not have health insurance. According to a company news release, the MAINTAIN program is designed for people who became unemployed on or after January 1st of this year, who were taking an eligible drug for three months or more when they lost their job, and who currently do not have prescription drug benefits. People who meet these three requirements—and their spouses and dependents—could receive their prescription drugs free for up to one year. Medications included in Pfizer's program include such popular drugs as Lipitor, Viagra, and Celebrex, as well as a number of antidepressants and heart medications. To complete an application, visit the MAINTAIN Web site."

Thanks for telling all,

My Wife just got her 'free meds' form them the other day!!! And the SSI/mediCal thing is going better than the last 5 times and for the last 8 years!

The only thing is , as far as i know Pfizer is the ONLY Company involved in PAP's to deliver the meds right to the house!!! now if we can get the others to do the same, it would eliminate yet another Admin nightmare for DR's everywhere!! Lets figure out together!!
