It's fantastic that you're so happy with your blood sugar control and food choices while using insulin! ~Lynn @Glucerna

Once I finally came out of denial of my Dx. and accepted responsibility for my diabetes, and went on a low carbohydrate eating plan, and began taking my insulin as directed (even have been able to get my insulin dropped down considerably) my numbers have come down well within range. My A1c has come down from over 12 down to 6.0. For me the biggest change was coming out of denial and accepting responsibility for my eating plan. CARBS! Congrats on the better BG numbers. Heidi

By reducing my daily carbohydrate intake, I have been able to maintain my weight around 120 pounds and keep my HbA1c in the 6's. For me, carb awareness and reduction is the key.
