I recently purchased 2 5lb. weights and I just love working out with them. I am so excited that I purchase more of them. They are part of my daily exercise routine and I encourage other Type 2 Diabetics to work out with them.

I was also recently given a stretch band that I received in my Heart Healthy class.

I love them too! I workout with 3 lb. weights in each hand. I am considering getting 5 lbs,. but not more than that. glad you love it. it really is a great exercise for us all

Exercise, eating 'properly' and timely medication are all absolutely essential EVERY day. Been disciplined via the prior for 40 years as Type 1 and 'knock on wood' no major ailments. Thank the lord.

That is EXCELLENT Ms Exercise

since you have T 2 diabetes, exercise is only one part of a Diabetes regimen. The other major part is to keep the weight off by finding and sticking with a new meal plan. A lot of people focus on the medication (as did I at first) thinking that the meds would control one's BG (blood glucose). but without keeping one's eating in check, it is futile to exercise and to take meds.
