Here is the recipe I promised that really curbs hunger. In fact after eating these I may never eat again. They started out as no bake cookies, but ended up more like candy.
2 cups oat bran
1 cup ground flax seed
1 cup unsweetened coconut (toasted optional)
2 cups Splenda
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup malted milk powder
1 cup Hi maize resistant starch fiber
1 cup inulin
1 cup melted butter
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 -8 oz packages of full fat cream cheese
Mix dry ingredients together in a large container
Add water, milk, melted butter, vanilla and cream cheese
Beat with an electric mixer until well mixed and creamy.
spoon mixture (about the size of a walnut) in to a mixture of cocoa and Splenda to coat.
Place in a freezer container and store in the freezer with just enough for 3 days kept in a covered bowl in the refrigerator. They will grow fur if kept in the refrigerator too long.
They have about 50 calories each. A serving size is two.
You may want to divide the recipe in half the first time you make it. It makes a lot but freezes well.
If you want to use Stevia add it with the liquids It should work well although I have not tested it with Stevia. No baking required. The ingredients may be hard to find but if you contact me privately I will help you. Grandma Rose

Have you placed this recipe in the recipe section so that someone may more easily find it later? It would be appreciated!

You could also at that time add your warning you felt the need to post right after you posted this.

God's best to you

Hi james
I don't know how to put it in the recipe section yet. I am much better at creating diabetic friendly recipes than making this machine do my bidding.

The other thing is, I kind of gave away some of my secret. I want diabetics here to try the recipe and see that it really works. I prefer that someone not turn into a moneymaking endeavor, I admit that is naïve of me. It is a benefit to me to have been a diabetic all these years. I can test the recipes. This one works!!!!!! .When I made it yesterday, I had several pieces as I need to test what I had made. I had to make myself eat a balanced meal yesterday. I wanted no food. Nothing in the refrigerator looked tempting not even my leftover cheesecake. It is still with me today. I had my normal 1/2 cups nuts for breakfast but I really didn't want them and would have been happy eating nothing. That is why I put the warning up only to eat one. I don't have the dose correct yet. For now, one the size of a walnut would be a good start. When my hunger returns, I will test the dose again. It won't hurt you, but if you don't eat your blood sugar could go too low.
