Surprise from husband
I did not want to go out early this morning and fight the crowds so I slept in or until 9am. I got up and hubby had breakfast ready, coffee done, and baby girl (my Chihuahua) walked, fed, and settled in. After breakfast he cleaned the kitchen and asked if there was anything I needed him to do. About 11am he excused himself, said he needed to go fill his truck with gas I thought it was taking him a long time to get gas as the store is about 3 minutes away from us but I didn't worry because he sometimes gets to talking with someone and time gets away with him. When he did return he brought me a George Foreman grill. Uh huh…LOL He said that since I have to make changes to my diet maybe taking away some of the fats would help with my lipid levels and that he would change his diet too. He has always put my needs before his and I will admit I am a bit spoiled but from love and respect, not material things. He is my greatest supporter and I thank God for him every day.

Hi BreC,
There's just one thing to say your hubby is a keeper. He's willing
to work with you and your change in eating plan. MewElla said there's
nothing better than a supportive husband and I agree,
Whole heartedly. Now not to take anything away from you I would like to
share with you about my man. He surprised me by telling me he's coming
for Christmas through New years. I'm so thrilled and shocked. It's a long trip. We both have good men, their both keepers. Happy Holidays…
Hugs,
Valentine lady
Nothing better than having a loving and supportive husband. How blessed you are!
The pork chops marinated with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, dash of salt, and cooked for 8 minutes on GF grill. Done, tender, and so good.
It sounds like you have a keeper there. god has blessed you. btw, I want to get the GF outdoor grill for myself. Love to cook outdoors, but firing up the charcoal for one is kind of wasteful unless I'm going to cook for a whole week.
How sweet. It's actions like this that make a strong relationship. Things are just things. He has shown you how proud he is, and is trying to help you. Awesome.
Going to try my GF grill with pork chops tonight. Excited
That George is the best fhing I have found for cooking meats! Although Valentine Lady says that she grills veggies on it too.
Hmmm guess I will have to try the veggie thing later. Husband wants pinto beans with ham cooked in and some fried potatoes. A little something for him and a little something for me and have a great meal for both.
"You are truly blessed
Happy for you! Hugs

You are really lucky!
How thoughtful.
Oh, that is so sweet! You have been blessed, truly blessed.
OH WOW, what a keeper he is !
I love my George Foreman grill, I use it at least 3 times a week, most all my meats go on it, even fish. And, clean up is a breeze. Your going to love it.
Yes, you've got one of the good ones there !
Hugs, Heidi
Sounds like he really loves you and wants to keep you around for a while!
How sweet of him, He sounds like a keeper!
Yeah after 23 years, think I will keep him..LOL
