Apparently, word is getting out that I am diabetic and I am starting to get calls from companies wanting my business, Or rather my insurance providers business. Does anyone here currently deal with "Medi Bio Tech"? They called wanting to send me vitamins this morning. It feels odd to me to be receiving calls like this, never having been in this situation before. Is this common?

I don't listen to solicitations unless I am bored to death. Even then I listen to a point then hang up. I block the number. I would never order or even consider taking any kind of vitamins or medications offered from a solicitation.

With open enrollment and the holiday season approaching, there are all kinds of scams and cons that people fall for. I DO NOT order anything from a solicitation. I agree with James, register your land line and cell phone on the Do Not Call registry and the calls will stop.

Howdy Sue
Everybody is out to make a buck any way they can.

I haven't dealt with this particular company, and I probably would not do business with most anyone who calls me, except for my ins. co.

Perhaps you might like to put your landline and cellphone on the do not call list. That may reduce the number of calls.

God's best to you
James.

With open enrollment on the horizon, there are all kinds of people calling to get your business. I have been inundated with it as well. Though not diabetic related until they ask. You may have filled out a survey somewhere and it got used. My husband did that and now we get all kinds of calls.
