There are some great resources on this year's Diabetes Awareness page right here on Diabetic Connect. Check it out and who knows, you may even learn something!

Howdy Rick\
Not sure what you mean by "having trouble setting diabetes"?

If you are having trouble seeing the screen to read perhaps you could read better on a computer screen where you can enlarge the size of the print so you can see it.

Also you may want to get a dialated eye exam from an opthamologist to see if you may be having retinopathy issues. If no retinopathy issues you may wish to keep your BG (blood glucose) levels at normal levels for a couple of months before you get measured for glasses. High glucose levels affect the pressure in your eyeball and causes blurry vision. You may also wish to have the opthamologist look at any possible cataract issues as well. I was Dx'd in 1995 with type 2, and by mid '96 I had to have a cataract removed. My cataract was frosted white and couldn't see anything out of my left eye till after the surgery.

If you can't see well, it is difficult to do anyting

Blessings to you

I think this year I am seeing WAY more things out there than any other year I have been involved with diabetes. The activity level of all kinds of sites is off the charts, in a very good way.
