We travel to visit with our children. I find it very difficult to eat the right things and wondered if purchasing some pre-packaged meals that might work for my diabetic meal needs would keep me on track. I could then eat what I'm suppose to without my family redoing recipes just for me. Now when I started looking at these meals in the freezer section I was amazed at how many there are. My question is "have any of you used these meals like Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones or perhaps another brand and found them to b diabetic friendly?"
Thanks so much.

I've heard many people enjoy Healthy Choice meals. You're right that there are lots of options, and reading the food label will help you decide which ones are the best fit for you. ~Lynn @Glucerna

My mom uses them a lot. She uses the Lean Cuisine ones the most, but it is peppered with others. She doesn't really cook anymore and this is a good way for her to get more balance. She usually will add some kind of salad to the meal to get some raw food in there.

Her levels are great. She's been a type 2 for about 10 years. So while there are some drawbacks to using them like the sodium and such, for the most part she has been very happy with them.
