I started taking my meds and finger pricking this past Tuesday and my numbers were pretty high in the morning before eating anything (186). Tonight two hours after dinner I got a 104. Please tell me this is good!

Thanks guys, I am keeping a journal, 2 actually, one is written and the other is on an app in my phone that calculates my averages! It's called "On Track" if anyone is interested!!

It's great that you're keeping a journal. Do you have a preference of one over the other? Many people find it difficult to journal, and you're keeping two! ~Lynn @Glucerna

This 104 looks good but always check with your doctor when you start new meds to make sure. I would want 104 but that's me ! Write everything down so you and your doctor can see how you are doing. Best of luck, Calayx

Let your body tell you that is good. It sounds like you may have some dawn phenomenon in the morning. Many of us do. But any time your body spends below 140 is good.

Keeping a journal will help you see how you are doing and at the end of each week, you can do an average and see how you do then. If your average is below 140 then you are doing really well. I am sure your body will tell you that also. You will feel so much better.
