Showering often loosens adhesive tape. I use cloth tape. But, don't have much success with it. It sticks to my skin, but not to the adhesive on my devices.

Tape omnipods and dexom sensors. So far, the Nexcare Durable Cloth tape is in the running for best. It is hypoallergenic.

what are you trying to tape to what? Injection site? try a layer of Tegaderm or Bioclusive and inject through it for a pump, although that will muck up a sensor. Just plain old taping something down to skin, Elastikon will hold it down, just might leave a mess afterwards. You can also use any iodine based prep before taping.

Best adhesive tape to do WHAT Dr John?

There are different tapes for different purposes. Every time I go to dialysis I get the venipunctures taped at the end. Paper tape does well for that, although plastic tape does OK there too..

My late wife was allergic to the adhesive on many different kind of tapes, and so the best for her was any tape which did not cause a rash or other allergic reaction.

So please be specific as to what you intend to do with the tape.

God's best to you
