Well I've been on Victoza for about 6 weeks. I've lost23# and my A1C is 5.7. The first 3 weeks I was so nauseated I thought I would have to get off of it. Then it began to subside, thank goodness. Doing great now. The Dr. said last visit he will probably take me off the metformin and just keep me on Victoza. I feel so much better since I lost weight. Only 10# to go to what I should weigh. I'm so excited as I'm a grandmother now and it seemed those pounds would never come off. Thanks Victoza! :-)

That's great news on all counts: weight loss, feeling good, decreasing medication, and being a grandmother :) ~Lynn @Glucerna

That is great to hear. I had not heard any success stories on Victoza yet so it's good to know one of the new meds out there is helping us out.
When you say you felt nauseated, how long and how bad? Like an all day thing or just after the shot? Three weeks is a long time to feel that way, but I am glad you stuck it out.
