It seems there is a connection between thyroid and diabetes for many of us. I guess when one hormone goes nuts, they all do. I found this slide show on foods to avoid if you have a hypothyroid and it was a shock.
Many of the good low carb veggies are on that list, along with coffee and then of course the things we tend to avoid anyway. But I still suddenly felt much more restricted. I love my broccoli!
