Hi Valerie,
CONGRATULATIONS on the numbers. Good going, a little bit
of work and they will come down even more. My last doctor
Appointment the other day, a pre-op check up, my A1C was 6.1 m my Un cholesterol was 98 amd my triglycerides was 122.
I have to be doing something right. Just like you…we both have a reason to celebrate.
May God bless you and yours,
Hugs, Peggy

Congratulations on improving your A1c! Do you have a follow-up appointment with the dietitian? She can help you figure out changes to make to lower the LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. You're making great progress! ~Lynn @Glucerna

Good to learn that your A1c was down.

You know that your A1c is the average of your BG 24 hrs a day for the past 3 months weighted for the last two weeks. So if you hadn't had that rough patch of Bg readings the last two weeks, your A1c may have been even lower.

Regarding the Trigs: Often those result from high carbohydrate consumption. Most likely due to your rough two wks Perhaps if you can keep your carb intake down, your next Trig reading may be better.

Praying for your improving health and knowledge
