I would love to connect with other type one's and share stories of the daily struggle we all share. Doesn't it just suck?

I absolutely hate checking my bs. I try to as much as I can but like during work it's extra hard to maintain and monitor it. I want more hours but I feel like me taking longer breaks to recover from lows make my employers not want to give me those hours. Not sure what to do there.
Anyone else struggling similarly? Or even in a different way? I would like to hear about it. I'm here for you all. We are all in this together.

Have been home bound for several years so don't think anything about testing 7 times a day. Juice will help get my bg up faster than anything else.

It is a struggle every day. But every day is just another chance to win this thing. I have good days and days that start with a BS at 300 at 4 am and the rest of the day feels like an uphill battle. But you need to just keep moving forward. I hate testing, but you do it because you need to. I told myself "I know where my sugar is" for years. Then my doc made me test all the time and blew that idea out of the water.
You need to take care of yourself, you need to test, and if you keep on top of this damn thing you will be a lot happier and a lot healthier.

Good luck.

T 1s aren't the only ones who struggle with diabetes. Those of us who are T 2s have similar struggles.

I feel myself that both T1s and T2s are in it together. T1s may have to inject insulin, but for a while I as a T2 I injected insulin for about 4 yrs, so I certainly understand about the injections.

Praying for better health for us all
