paying 47 dollars a month for a prescription program and my Humalog pen is still 169.00 a month and levimir is 250.00 for three months. I need to find a pharmacy or plan that helps pay more on this diabetic medicine. Two months ago I went into and over what the insurance would pay. This is really getting too expensive.

For the last year I had no insurance and finally a doctor friend suggested buying insulin from Canada (I live in Texas). I have been overjoyed to pay $89.95 plus $20 shipping for my box of Humalog Kwik Pens and $140 something for Lantas. I was concerned about shipping in the summer to hot Texas, but have had no problems and the customer service is fantastic. If anyone would like the name of a particular pharmacy, let me know!

Other medications are also available at much cheaper prices than here in the US…
Hope this helps~

Have you tried a WalMart Pharmacy? They have the best prices on a lot of things. Unfortunately, it does sound like you are getting a good price. I hear many members say they have to pay upto $500.00 a month for one insulin prescription. I have to get my scripts from 3 different places to get the best prices. It's kind of a pain on refill day, but it saves me a lot of money.
