My blood glucose always goes down at night. Regardless what I do to stop it. So, regardless, when I last take my BG for the night I do not cover it. What I mean by that is, if my BG is 168 I still allow it to come down by its self. The lowest it now gets is now in the 90's. Which is in the normal range. I take it you work nights. You will have to absolutely have to switch your days and nights.
Since you sleep days eat your snack then and go to bed then. Do you understand what I mean? If not then let me know and I'll explain further. Until later, hugs to you…

Howdy Angelhart
Before we can even take an educated guess there are one or two pieces of info which would be good for us to know. 1) your method of managing your BG (blood glucose). 2) how long have you had diabetes 3) what method are you using to bring up your BG to non hypo levels (rule of 15/15)?

If you are in a serious hypo state and you bring yourself up somehow to above 70 mg/dl you are going to feel bad for a bit, even if you are at 100 mg/dl or above.

God's best to you and yours

In addition to James' questions, it sounds like you're working at night when your blood sugar drops? This is also something to talk about with your physician. ~Lynn @Glucerna
