I just heard the entire infomercial and came here right after to see what others think. After reading many of the comments, I'm inclined to believe this Dr. is honest and earnest in his belief this is a cure for diabetes. It certainly does no harm and he offers every penny of your money back if it's not for you. So if I had diabetes the only thing it would be wasting would be my time. I could hear the honesty in his voice. No red flags other than the obvious too good to be true, and must get this right now ones. This put me off quite a bit, but I understand why he needed to present it this way. People are natural skeptics particularly this coming from an off beat , outside the establishment presentation. His talk regarding big pharmacy I absolutely believe. As an RN in Critical Care it is ludicrous that a cure has not been made or presented to the public by now. Diabetes is a scourge of pain and morbiity to so many people to withhold any hopes or even partial good news for this disease is criminal in my book. But the money talks. Doesn't it? Imagine if this got to the masses quickly and even lets say 80% could get off the testing and meds. The multi billion dollar health care diabetic machine would freeze up in it's tracks. Diabetes is so highly integrated within health care it's a huge aspect of what health care workers deal with. A cure would bring institutions down on their knees and thousands of jobs would be lost within a few months. So, I believe it's easily cured yet the big pharmacy and hospital business cares more about money than people. Think of the enormous loss of revenue the health care industry would sustain because it is built on an illness model rather than prevention. As a nurse, it's mind boggling to me. In Critical care it was not unusual to have more than half of the patients with severe glucose control issues. Even non diabetics coming from OR or post Myocardial Infarctions or Trauma patients need to have glucoses checked. Many, I'm afraid go home with co-diagnosis of diabetes. I think this blinding $$ within all of health care is true with other diseases too. Cancer the most obvious. Thanks for everyones perspective on this Dr. and his cure. I can certainly understand his fear of him being quickly squelched because of the implications of a cure. Will

Hi all,

My mother has sent me the link for this Dr Pullman diabetes protocol as she is very un-techno savvy and can't work out how to pay for it. I have told her repeatedly to exercise more and put on some muscle mass, but it falls on deaf ears. TBH, her diet is not bad, although I think she is a bit hyper on the no fat issue, but either way she has a static weight for the last few years and does not seem capable of reducing it.

I am pretty sure she will just want to go ahead and buy the protocol no matter what anyone says, so perhaps she can be a guinea pig for this.

She has prediabetes high fasting blood glucose, so I won't be able to determine how this protocol works for actual type 1 or 2.

I am kinda thinking from what has been said, that this is a diet of sorts, and presumably any diet that gets you to shift 5-10% of your BMI would help the majority of prediabetics from getting the full blown diabetes? But it also sounds like you need to do yoga as well? I can't honestly see my mother doing yoga.

I heard that inulin is a good way to help with controlling blood sugar levels, has anyone tried this and did it help?

I have been diabetic for some time now and want to to believe that Kenneth Pullman's Diabetic Protocol has merit. I am like most here skeptical to say the least. I don't mind spending the money on the eBook, it's peanuts really. So I am going to be a totally unpaid, unapproached person who will give this method a try.

In the first part, i hear people calling this a cure, if Pullman calls it a cure, then he is by facts of what i have read here about the program, mistakenly or purposely misleading people, when in fact the program must be contused on a regular basis to be successful. Regardless of that fact, i am willing to give it my best shot in order to give a true and honest reporting of my individual findings and I will post them here (i hope they send you email when you post or i might never find this place again :) )

You didn't follow the complete protocol, PLUS, he didn't say you NEVER had to do anything else. He said you need to continue the protocol at least 1 X a week, to keep everything regulated!

Hanss1 2015-03-30 06:34:00 -0500 Report

I tried this program and believe me it is a scam. I had to use it for 19 days and the diabetes would be reversed and you could eat what you want again. After 19 days the diabetes was back again. There are more of these scams on internet and they are all the same. Don`t do it!! You can get most of the info in this book from your docter for free

Sounds like you didn't follow part of the protocol, PLUS he doesn't say you don't ever have to do anything else! He does say you need to do the protocol at least once a week, to keep everything regulated!

Howdy Hanns

Thanks for sharing your experience with the program. Your experience confirms my suppositions about this protocol and most programs which claim cures for diabetes.

God's best to you and yours

I listened to the pitch for the book , I went for it , paid for it and received it on line. I read it through several times over the course of a week. I cleaned out my cupboards and my refrigerator, went shopping and started to read labels. The next day I started the program. I did everything except drink that concoction in the morning and I didn't do the yoga. I had an appointment scheduled for my doctors appointment two months after I started reading this book. At my previous appointment my A-1 C was 9.2 my triglycerides were over 600 and my cholesterol was almost 350. At my next appointment my A-1 C was 6.6 my triglycerides where 108 and my cholesterol was 80 so I don't know maybe it's just me and my body , but the plan worked for me. My doctor was amazed. He Cut my medication in half. At my next appointment in February if my numbers are still down He is taking me off all of my meds. Hallelujah!

Do the concoction. I made my daughter diagnosed do the concoction and we also eat very clean no dairy, no grains. After After we started BG have been normal with one unit long lasting insulin. It could just be a coincidence but I am going to keep doing it. She drinks the lime juice and acv and then takes pills for the herbs.

Thanks for posting your experience. If you have further updates please post them here.

K Pullman said that you would be cured of your diabetes and you could go back to eating like you did before your diagnosis. So will you try that after Feb? I would be interested to know if what KP says is true or not.

if you would it would be appreciated

James, I noticed that he said you needed to continue w/the protocol at least 1X per week, to keep everything regulated. Even if it's "cured", the same thing that triggered it to begin with, is probably still present to start it up again!

Will let you know what happens after next Dr. Visit.
A little back ground. I am currently 57yrs old. Found out I was diabetic 8 years ago. My father was diabetic as are 2 of my three older brothers. (I am currently working on them.) When I read the book I was really ready, willing and determined to do it. You really must give it your all. My whole body has made a turn for the better since following the advice. More energy, no more nodding off after my evening meal, no more tingling in my leg. No more heart burn or indigestion etc. Even my skin has improved. As an added bonus I have so far lost 30 lbs. Friends, family and especially my husband are amazed and constantly tell me how so much of me has changed. Just today my oldest daughter told me how proud she was of me and wished I had done all this sooner.
I guess this plan may not work for everyone, and if your diabetes doesn't reverse, the plan is still worth it for the other health benefits. Good luck to all who take the chance and give it a real go.
Till February…

It is early April 2015 any results yet? Have you received your "cure" as Pullman promised? Inquiring minds want to know.

allen405, The book Diabetes Protocol was introduced to me by my (also diabetic) brother after I told him I was following a raw food diet which I began after hearing, this too, would reverse diabetes. Let me preface my response by saying I am healthy eater. Carbohydrates are not in my refrigerator or pantry outside the occasional potato or rice side dish. Vegetables and fruit consist of 60-75% of my diet with 25% being fish, seafood, chicken and steak. And I drink 6-8 glasses of water each day as the norm.
I am on day 18 of the 19 day Diabetes Protocol program drinking the detox concoction each morning as directed, drinking 10 glasses of water each day, supplementing macca powder($$) and practicing yoga(limited). Through this program I have NOT reduced my insulin dosage by even a fraction. I have also experienced sporadic spikes in blood glucose readings which have read 400mg/dl +++. In my 30 years living with diabetes I have only hit glucose readings that high on rare occasions where there was an explanation for them. (On one occasion, while on the program, I at 3 unbreaded chicken wings without sauce with a glass of water and had a reading 464 mg/dl).
Although I have no way of knowing whether the detox of my pancreas and liver have been successful I can unequivocally say that there is absolutely no indication that there has been ANY improvement in my glucose readings nor has there been ANY reduction in the amount of insulin I am using each day.
In my opinion the book Diabetes Protocol, although may have tips for living with diabetes, makes false accusations for a cure for diabetes.

Thanks, Muffy for that telling of your experience of being on the program. It is quite valuable!

Diabetes can NOT be reversed. It can be managed, controlled but not reversed or cured. Words mean things, and those are my red flag words. We don't have a 'cure' for anything. I'm not as pessimistic as this sounds, those words are just pet peeves of mine. We will have better treatments, but even if we still had a 'cure' and I got it, I would not be able to go back to a care free Snickers and Mountain Dew diet. Some of the promising stem cell treatments, even the best ones, will require immunosuppression or follow up surgical implants. These hold a great deal of promise for a possibly better treatment, but it's not a cure. If camels' milk and apple cider vinegar reverse diabetes, I have still traded diabetes for drinking camels milk and vinegar. Thank you, no.

Sorry you had to endure that Video. I did too. You are right to be skeptical of the program as Pullman claims in his video (on the book cover illustration) that Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes can be CURED (emphasis mine) in a matter of 13 weeks.

There is a member here and they have promoted this program. This member claims to be on the program. This is what I told him in one of the discussions:

"You claim you are on his plan/program/protocol and have seen BG (blood glucose) reduction. When you have completed your full 13 weeks and no longer have diatetes (according to Mr Pullman) consume something you KNOW will spike you and see if you have a gluco-normal response to it. Consume. let's say, a whole liter of regular coke or pepsi. Let us know how that experiment goes! I believe I know how it will turn out.
Until you can do that sucessfully your claims mean nothing and Mr Pullman's claims are unproven."

I am still waiting for this member to contact me back on the challenge.

I had tried to find a honest review of the Protocol however it seems that most of the review sites and the reviewers seem to be bought off and are actually selling the program.

I also believe the member here who posted 2 discussions about this program has been paid to do so. So far I have been unsuccessful in getting any action when I report these discussions and ask that at least the links in the original discussion be deleted. The DC I used to know and love would not have let these sales links go without removal for very long.

In another similarly titled discussion. A couple of the ladies posting had somehow aquired the book. This is what one of them said:

"Deb, I'm with you regarding diet & exercise through a lifestyle change is what is needed. A neighbor friend bought me a book also and I started to read it but it is basically one mans journey through diabetes. It would be an interesting book but it doesn't say what he does to improve his lifestyle and his life is kind of messy. I don't mind most of that because who doesn't have a messy life but I don't like foul language so I'm not sure I will finish the book" see ~

So if you waded through all of that, I commend you. You can make of it what you will. I believe it to be a scam. I suspect the basic info is good enough but the claim of both T1s and T2s being off diabetes meds and cured of diabetes where one has a gluco-normal response to things which would spike a PWD is really, to me, unbelievable.

God's best to you

I got suckered into listening to Pullman. My gosh does he like to talk.
I was and still am very skeptical regarding his comments.
As far as I know, and I could be wrong, but if you are a borderline diabetic, you may be able to stay off meds by changing your diet.
I'm not even sure that you will be able to do this once they see how your blood test are. Maybe you will be able to adjust your meds.
I've known my doctors for many years and really trust them. If they knew of a miracle cure they would let me know. They are not there for the money but to help me.

I just ran into this post… and have good news.
1st it is awesome and very important to have Doctors in your side, interested in sharing and finding real 'cures'. AND trying to get our bodies to be as healthy as they can and should… not everybody can say that :)

I believe we are very hard on our bodies and not only diabetes, but cancers and other many things are the results from 'some type of torture' (for a lack of a better word) we put our bodies through. And our bodies 'break' or reflect it as Diabetes, or whatever. But it is not a over night thing..it develops over years, until the cells say enough!

Dr Wentz (an expert in cellular nutrition and the one who created over 30 diagnostic kits that are used by all hospitals) says that if you 'stop' the aggressive (meds), and then give the cell proper nutrition at OPTIMAL levels (nooootttt RDA levels=tooo low), Then the cell can and will repair and grow and multiply healthy. It is amazing what our bodies can do…only if…
For Diabetes and any degenerative illness…and for that matter, just to be & keep healthy, there is NOT 1 magic bullet, I believe its a combination of things:
1-Exercise, 2- what we eat/and what we don't eat 3-supplementation (a must-finding the correct ones) and 4- Reduce STRESS (this is a big one).

Dr. Pullman in his video claims some things that I'm not very sure of, but the thing I do know is we need a balance of the 4 items… not only 2, and food alone can not give us what we need in the levels our body needs.
That of having sodas again, and 'junk food'…well, a friend Chemist once told me; to 'level' the effect of 1 soda in our body, we need 8-9 glasses of water.
So, we need to be smart and help our doctors… they are so busy that they them selves don't have time to be healthy and check all the info that exists.

The Doc says: we are living to short and dying to long!
We need to help our bodies be the best they can be.

Hope this helps… and if you would like to know 'the difference' let me know
