That is so cool! I don't really get the oxygen part, but that is a great implant. I can imagine the kids would love one injection instead of multiple ones.

The pancreas is an organ that is heavily gorged with blood. As a result, beta cells, and the like receive a rich supply of oxygen ! Without ooodles of oxygen, they die. Probably very difficult to reproduce this scenario. That's my uneducated guess ! Whatever the case, I hope they succeed !

Me too, that sounds great. Though I will have to say finding a port may not be as easy as they think. My husband has a port the size of a dime and it takes an x-ray machine called a flouriscope to find it to get the needle in. I hope this one works better.

Got to the profile page of the person you would like to friend. You can get there by clicking on that persons name. Next you'll see a blue button that says connect, on the left side of their profile page. Click connect and follow the directions !!!

This sounds like it is something which may possibly take place, but then the press releases usually do. Old saying "There is many a slip between cup and lip." (meanting what seemed sure may not be).

I pray it works and can get approved here in the USA without too much opposition from Big Pharma.
