Looking for a Little Boost

I went for my diabetes check today and my A1C was 7.2! I was thrilled with that, but still working on getting it lower. The thing that really worries me is this weird condition I've been having issues with. It seems that my neurologist thinks it is a migraine "variant" that causes trembling (sometimes severe) on the right side and even stuttering and/or loss of speech. I get dizzy sometimes with it. The first time it happened they thought it was a mini stroke. It's been happening more and more often for the last year and I have been having small "episodes" every day, many times a day, for about a week. Doc is sending me for an EEG on Friday to test for seizures and I'm a little nervous about the outcome. The EEG doesn't make me nervous—I'm just afraid they will find something "wrong". This has been going on for about two years and it just seems to be getting worse every month. Prayers and good thoughts would be most appreciated! Thanks to all of you for your support!

Of course your nervous, that's absoutley understandable. We all have those days that we need a little boast, never be ashamed or scared to ask for support from your network of friends, that's what we're here for. We are your sounding board in good times and bad. Best of luck with your test. I know I'm a wee bit nervous because my neurologist sent me to a cardlogist to make sure it was safe for me to take Mirapex for my miagrains, and that has snowballed into a heart cath. I'm scheduled for on the 22nd, it is scarry when you are scheduled for testing, expected or not. Keep us updated and best of luck

Thank you, everyone, for all your support and prayers. I had a bad day today with the trembling, but I still got through both jobs! God sure does look out for me every moment! I'll let you know what they find (let's hope it's a brain!)

You are in my prayers. The unknown, is always the worst. But I'm sure they will find the problem, provide the right medication, and all will be fine. Good luck and keep us posted.

I was diagnosed a few years ago with having seizures. I, too, was scared. But, after working with my neurologist, having several tests done, and getting put on the right medication, I am doing fine. No seizures in 3 years. It may take trying a couple of different medications to get things exactly as they should be, but keep at it. Things will work out. I'll be thinking of you. Best of luck.

I'm sure you must be concerned. It's always frightening to face something unknown, and especially when it comes to your health. You will definitely have my prayers and good thoughts. As difficult as it might be, try to stay positive and just lay it at the Lord's feet. And remember He'll be right there with you, regardless of the results. Let us know how things go.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope they find what is causing this and that it isn't something too severe.

PS please keep us posted when you hear anything :)
