Any suggestions on what to do if you are uninsured and insulin-dependent and unable to pay for insulin?

Does your community offer a sliding-fee low-cost clinic? The drug companies provide samples to the clinic for distribution as well as a medication assistance program. My daughter sees a nurse-practitioner at our clinic network and has been using samples while she waits for her medication assistance to come through.

if you arent working then you could go for state aid… if your doc says you cant work anymore then go for ssd, but state aid would be quicker… my friend got on state aid an now is working on ssd..
