I am thinking if switching my pump from the Medtronic minimed to the Omnipod. Does anyone use the Omnipod? Any advice?

I switched from Minimed to the Omnipod last year and I love it. It's really strange at first. For the first week I felt lost without my pump in my pocket. I even panicked once and thought I forgot to reattach it.The Omnipod company is really easy to deal with and they even replace pods under certain circumstances. I guess I like it so much because of the company itself. If I ever have an issue they're always friendly. As for my Minmed pump, it's motor went out(after I switched to Omnipod I got a letter in the mail from Minimed about a motor problem) and because it was a few months out of warranty they wouldn't help and they were extremely unfriendly. With insurance issues I couldn't get it replaced. That's when I turned to Omnipod. They worked with me and even gave a discount for "cutting the cord". With my pod I'm free to wear dresses without trying to find a place for my pump, I don't ever have to see a needle(oddly enough I'm scared of the darn things). I don't worry about getting my tube caught on anything. It's GREAT. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I tested some pods and loved them but my ins comp was dead set agents paying for them , the Medtronic is a lot cheeper .
