Just saying Hi.
Type 2, diagnosed about 4? years ago. on Metformin, wanting to do more exercise, but as I also have arthritis it's hard to get around. I live in Vermont, hoping to find other Vermonters to hang about with in person, but online buds are ever and always welcome too.

A big welcome to you. And you may find that those whom were diagnosed ten, twenty, thirty years ago are still 'new' in some way. Need info? Stick close to this Site.

Hi, I just wanted to say hello and welcome. I am Type 1 but there are so many great Type 2's on here. We all have the same problem, we just treat them differently. Welcome again and I'm Angie if I can ever help you!

Welcome! Do you have access to a swimming pool? If so water aerobics would be a great choice :)

Nice to meet you. I'm also Type 2. Live in NC. Loved to visit Vermont. Have never been. I take Actos, Amaryl, and Insulin twice per day. Welcome to this great community!

I've been to NC a few times. The first was a campout, back in the late 80s with the Rainbow Family. We were in the Nantehallah (sp?) forest.

My friend Anni lives down in Asheville, and we went on a trip to scout it out before she moved there back in 2001.
