Do you take care of a child or an elder parent and their diabetes? You can't be there all the time and this app is a great way for them to "check in" when they check their glucose levels. Once it's set up, you don't have to do anything else. It automatically will send the monitor's results to a designated email or android phone. So no more worries if your little on is doing okay at school or concern that your parent may need your assistance.

The cost is only $26.00 for the start up and $5 a month. For some peace of mind…it's worth it.

Hi Gabby,
Thanks for writing about ShugaTrak! I'm co-founder and CEO of the startup company that makes ShugaTrak, and I just wanted to clarify one small point. Anybody with a cell phone can receive notifications with BG readings. All they have to be able to do is receive a text message. It's the person with diabetes who needs to have an Android phone. But even that restriction will go away soon, because the iPhone version of ShugaTrak is almost ready!
Thanks again,
John Fitzpatrick

Thanks for that. The article mentioned the android phone. I don't own any of those things but have found that they can be brand specific. I thought this sounded so great!! Glad to see it's growing as well.
