Congrats!! The more time that passes, the easier it gets. A looonnnngggg time ago, I was a chain smoker and had to use the nicotine patches to get past the irritability and urge to smoke. After a few months of not smoking, I never even thought about it . . . except when I was around others who smoked. To this day I find myself sniffing in "second hand" smoke and it brings up urges to smoke, although it was detestable when, in the early stages, I would light one up. Try not to hang out with people who smoke . . . it's too tempting.

Good for you..that is fantastic!! The hardest part is over..just be sure to stick to your goal and stay away as much as possible from other smokers

Go for a walk instead…helps to cut the stress…even if it is only for a min or two helps
