I have had diabetes type 1 for 39 yrs now. Gosh thats a long time. I take lantus and Novolg. I lost my health insurance and cant afford the Lantus, I have lots of Novolg. I have no dr. right now that can help me with this. I bought NPH which I used to take. I know it only lasts for 12 hrs. Lantus is 48-72 hrs. I just dont know how to figure this out before I can see a dr. or before I can find $95 to pay for the Lantus. I do work and will get health benefits in 60 days.Any suggestions? Thank you

I was able to get help for my insulin through a company called Prescription Assistance 123. The name of the patient advocate that assisted me was Mark Brown. I am on insulin (lantus and Humalog) He signed me up for the patient assistance program through the manufacture and it was a really simple process. I receive my medications in the mail every three months. I would recommend him and this company to anyone. His number is (888) 507-9123 or his direct number is (561) 288-9044
Thanks Mark and good luck to everyone!
