I was at work last week and I felt a little strange, kind of disconnected, so I checked my blood sugar and it was 100 so I just went on working. I was checking patients in for their MRI appointments and all of a sudden I could not see the computer screen and was having a real hard time focusing. I checked my blood sugar again, thinking maybe it was a bad reading or something, it was 96. I had no other symptoms but I ate a granola bar and had some juice and I started to feel better, although I had a really bad headache for a day and a half. I have never had this happen and it was scary because my BS levels were normal. I was at 56 a few days before and had no symptoms, could this have been something else? I have been type 1 for 32 years and a pump user for 8 years and my BS levels have been 90-180 for a little while.
